Schedule / Job Type

• Travel, 12-week assignment, night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide acute care in a busy Emergency Department with a focus on trauma, stroke, psychiatric care, and other critical conditions
• Perform procedures such as U/S IV insertion, IO insertion, laceration repair, and EKGs
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and quality care
• Assess and prioritize patient needs, utilizing strong critical thinking and communication skills
• Follow established protocols for labs, medications, and diagnostics to support initial patient assessment and treatment
• Maintain documentation in the EMR system and adhere to unit policies and safety guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' ED experience for contract staff
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications (mandatory for contract roles)
• Strong assessment, communication, and dependability skills
• Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and manage multiple priorities effectively
• Proficiency in medical terminology and basic emergency procedures

Preferred Experience / Skills

• At least 1 year of ED experience for HCA-hired staff
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, MOAB, TNCC certifications (preferred if already obtained)
• Strong understanding of EKG interpretation
