Schedule / Job Type

• Travel, full-time, 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM), 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to cardiac medical patients on a designated unit.
• Monitor cardiac telemetry and use various medical equipment including vein finders, pulse oximetry devices, and blood glucose meters.
• Administer and manage cardiac drips such as Amio, Diltiazem, Dopa, Dobutamine, Milirone, Lasix, and insulin.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
• Adhere to unit policies, including float responsibilities within similar areas and weekend/on-call requirements.
• Document patient care accurately using EMR systems and maintain compliance with hospital standards.

Required Qualifications

• Valid ACLS certification.
• Knowledge of cardiac telemetry and medical-surgical nursing.
• Experience with cardiac procedures such as caths, pacers, ablations, and cardioversions.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced cardiac care environment.
• Engagement in patient-centered care, team-oriented, flexible, and adaptable.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Strong cardiac telemetry skills.
• Background in medical-surgical nursing with telemetry experience.
• Familiarity with advanced cardiac procedures and drips.
