Schedule / Job Type

• Travel, 13-week assignment
• Night shifts, 12-hour shifts
• 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to cardiac telemetry patients, including monitoring vital signs and cardiac rhythms
• Administer cardiac-related medications and IV drips such as Amio, Dilt, Dopa, Dobutamine, Milirone, Lasix, and insulin
• Assist with cardiac procedures like cardiac caths, pacemaker insertions, ablations, and cardioversions
• Ensure patient safety and comfort while adhering to unit policies and protocols
• Document patient progress accurately in EMR systems
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to deliver patient-centered care

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in the state of practice
• ACLS certification
• Experience with cardiac telemetry monitoring and management of cardiac drips
• Knowledge of cardiac procedures such as cath labs, pacers, and ablations
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to floating within similar units

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Strong medical-surgical background with telemetry expertise
• Experience in cardiac ICU or related specialty units
• Excellent team-oriented and patient-focused attitude
