Job Title
• Therapist - Occupational Therapist
Location
• Hopewell, VA
Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Travel, Days shifts, 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
• Evaluate and treat adult patients in an acute care hospital setting, including Med/Surg, Joint/Spine, Telemetry, ICU, and PCU units
• Collaborate with the case management team for patient placement and discharge planning
• Utilize all assistive devices and supplies for Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including steps and parallel bars
• Document patient assessments and treatments using Meditech Expanse system
• Provide exceptional patient care to ensure positive patient experiences and outcomes
Required Qualifications
• Valid Occupational Therapist license
• BLS-CPR certification
• At least 2 years of relevant experience
• Ability to work flexible hours within scheduled shifts
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience working in acute care hospital environments
• Certification in stroke rehabilitation (preferred but not mandatory)
• Strong understanding of pediatric or adult therapy protocols (nice to have)
