Key Responsibilities
• Provide quality nursing care to residents in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility.
• Serve as an integral part of the nursing team, delivering care within scope of practice.
• Respect patients' rights and maintain their dignity during care delivery.
• Follow facility protocols and standards to ensure patient safety and well-being.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
Required Qualifications
• Graduation from an accredited LPN/LVN program.
• Current and valid LPN/LVN license in the State of Alaska in good standing.
• CPR (BLS) certification.
• Ability to pass and maintain required competencies for the role.
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Up to one year of experience in a hospital or long-term care setting is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Familiarity with medical equipment such as Dynamapp, thermometers, Datascope, and Pulse Oximetry.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with diverse populations and healthcare team members.
• Ability to interpret technical procedures and governmental regulations.
