- Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown
Location
- Plano, TX
Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, travel, night shifts, 13-week assignment, working 3 nights per week, 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in the IMC/PCU/Stepdown unit following hospital protocols
- Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition
- Document patient information accurately in Meditech system
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes
- Adhere to unit-specific policies, including dress code and infection control
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license (permanent license only, temporary licenses not accepted)
- Minimum of 2 years of hospital experience, including recent experience in a stepdown or PCU setting
- BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale certification required
- Proficient in Meditech documentation system
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a PCU or stepdown ICU environment
- Experience with Meditech EHR system preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
