Polysomnographer / Sleep Technician
Location: Greenville, SC
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, night shifts, 4 days per week (10 hours each shift)
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform overnight sleep studies and monitoring for patients with sleep disorders.
- Ensure accurate data collection and troubleshooting of sleep equipment.
- Adhere to all safety and compliance protocols, including proper documentation.
- Collaborate with medical staff to review and interpret sleep study results.
- Maintain equipment and assist with patient comfort throughout procedures.
Required Qualifications:
- Valid license as a Polysomnographer (RPSGT) or Sleep Tech with applicable certification.
- If RPSGT, must submit exemption letter from licensing board at the time of application.
- If RRT-SDS, must hold a state license from the licensing authority.
- BLS certification required.
- Must have a minimum of 1 year of recent experience performing sleep studies.
- EMR experience, specifically with EPIC, preferred.
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Prior experience working in a hospital or sleep lab setting.
- Ability to work overnight shifts and every other weekend.
- Strong troubleshooting and patient monitoring skills.
