Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
- Assist with maternal and newborn health, including C-section recoveries.
- Administer medications and monitor vital signs during shifts.
- Collaborate with medical teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes.
- Document patient assessments and care provided accurately in electronic health records.
- Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in the state of Maryland.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
- Current certifications: NRP, AWHONN, FHM.
- OB surgical recovery experience (C-section) highly preferred.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working with EPIC electronic medical records system.
- Certifications in OB surgical recovery or related specialties.
- Ability to work night shifts consistently.
