Job Title

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, contract (travel nurse), night shifts (3x12 hours, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities
• Provide specialized nursing care in a busy Level I Trauma Center operating room across various surgical specialties, including trauma, transplant, orthopedics, neuro, ENT, GU-GYN, and robotics.
• Circulate and scrub in surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and adherence to hospital protocols.
• Assist with patient assessments, preparation, and post-operative care within the OR setting.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate efficient surgical operations.
• Maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records (EPIC).
• Comply with hospital policies, including holiday and on-call staffing requirements.

Required Qualifications
• Valid South Carolina RN license or multi-state/compact RN license.
• BLS certification; Radiation Badge (to be provided by agency).
• Minimum of 2 years of current operating room experience.
• Ability to float within scope to meet hospital needs.
• Willingness to work holidays, including Christmas and New Year’s.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Scrub experience in surgical procedures.
• Experience working in a Level I trauma, academic, or Magnet-designated hospital.
