Schedule / Job Type
- Travel, 13-week assignment, nights shift (7PM - 7AM), 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to orthopedic patients in a fast-paced hospital setting
- Perform dressing changes, aspiration procedures, and assist with post-operative recovery
- Collaborate with a dedicated team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
- Adhere to hospital policies and unit guidelines to maintain safety and standards
- Utilize EMR systems for accurate documentation and patient record management
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse license
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a surgical or orthopedic unit
- Ability to independently manage a caseload of 5 patients
- Experience with EMR systems, preferably Meditech
- Willingness to travel and work night shifts
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior orthopedic surgical or trauma care experience
- Pain management skills and postoperative care familiarity
