Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type
Full-time, contract, mids, 12-hour evening shifts, 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide emergency nursing care in a busy hospital ER environment
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, delivering timely interventions
- Collaborate with medical teams to develop and implement care plans
- Manage fast-paced situations including trauma and critical care cases
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments and treatments
- Adhere to hospital protocols and safety standards
Required Qualifications
- Valid NH or compact state nursing license
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA
- Minimum of 2 years of emergency department experience
- Ability to work 12-hour evening shifts with variable start times
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in high-volume emergency departments with trauma or fast track areas
- Prior work in hospitals with multi-area ER units including triage and critical care
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
