Travel, 13-week contract, Night shifts, 36-48 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide bedside medical-surgical and cardiac care on night shifts.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer treatments, and document care accurately within EPIC charting system.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care in a magnet-designated acute care hospital.
- Float within scope to other units or facilities as needed, including facilities in Belleville and Shiloh.
- Adhere to hospital policies and protocols, including shift reports and safety procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Illinois or Missouri (compact license acceptable for Missouri, in hand at time of submission).
- Minimum of 2 years of recent medical-surgical or telemetry experience.
- Current ACLS, NIH Stroke Certification, and BLS certifications.
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (1845 to 0715) and every other weekend.
- Successful completion of required compliance documentation including background check, drug screen, and certifications.
- EPIC electronic charting experience preferred.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a magnet hospital or Level I trauma center.
- Experience float within hospital units or facilities.
- Knowledge of hospital protocols for on-call and RTO policies.
