Job Title

• Interventional Radiology (IR) Technician

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Days, On-site, 10-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with interventional radiology procedures, including neuro IR, vascular, and body IR cases
• Start IVs, monitor sedated patients, and administer sedation medications
• Monitor EKGs and manage invasive monitoring devices such as EVD and ICP monitoring
• Administer medications, blood products, and infusions as required
• Ensure patient safety and adherence to unit-specific protocols
• Support team with routine clinical tasks in a high-acuity hospital setting

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical IR experience, preferably with neuro IR
• Recent EPIC system experience
• BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
• Ability to work day shifts with rotating weekends and call responsibilities
• References from the past 12 months confirming clinical competency

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a teaching hospital or trauma level 1 facility
• Experience with advanced IR equipment such as Ekos catheters and Lumbar Drains
• Knowledge of medication drips including TPA, heparin, and sedation agents
