Key Responsibilities
• Provide inpatient occupational therapy services at a community hospital setting.
• Screen and evaluate patients' functional abilities based on physician referrals.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve patient function and independence.
• Document patient progress and communicate treatment plans with the healthcare team.
• Float within scope as needed to various units, including ER and psych, ensuring comprehensive care delivery.
• Adhere to all hospital policies, including fingerprinting and mandatory module completion during orientation.

Required Qualifications
• Minimum 1 year of inpatient occupational therapy experience.
• Valid state licensure in VA or a compact state at the time of submission.
• Basic life support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to demonstrate EPIC charting experience.
• Compliance with facility background checks and policy requirements.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• BSN degree preferred.
• Experience with inpatient OT in a hospital setting.
• Familiarity with Virginia or similar state regulations.
