Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to neonatal intensive care patients in a busy hospital environment
- Monitor and assess critically ill newborns, implementing care plans accordingly
- Document patient care accurately using electronic charting systems
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Float within your scope of practice as needed to support various units
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of current NICU nursing experience
- BLS and NRP certifications
- Valid VA or compact state nursing license at the time of submission
- EPIC charting experience required
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a similar setting
- Must include SSN, DOB, address, phone, and email at submission
- Availability to work nights, with upfront shift availability provided
Preferred Experience / Skills
- BSN preferred
- Experience with VCU modules and orientation processes
