Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to residents in long-term care and skilled nursing facilities.
• Follow assigned shift coverage: primarily evenings (2:30 PM - 11:00 PM), with opportunities for morning (6:30 AM - 3:00 PM) and night shifts (10:30 PM - 7:00 AM).
• Rotate weekends and holidays as part of the schedule.
• Administer medications, monitor patient conditions, and document care using electronic medical records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• Valid registered nurse (RN) license.
• Experience working in LTC or SNF environments preferred.
• Basic life support (BLS) certification.
• Knowledge of PCC EMR system.
• IV certification required for LPNs considered for certain roles.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with LTC/TCU patient populations.
• Ability to handle a high patient ratio (1:23).
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including every other weekend and holidays.

• Guaranteed 36 hours per week with potential for 40 hours.
• Assignment duration: 4 weeks.
• Overtime is available.
• No charge differential at Good Samaritan facilities.
• No on-call or callback duties.
• A $500 fee applies if a clinician backs out or resigns with less than two weeks’ notice.
• Housing available through GSS, with local rates applying.
