Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, Days, 8.5-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, no weekend rotation
Key Responsibilities
- Provide speech-language pathology services within a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting
- Assess and develop treatment plans for patients, including those in a 64-bed facility
- Deliver therapy sessions to improve communication and swallowing functions
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
Required Qualifications
- Valid license as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Ability to work in a SNF setting (experience preferred but not required for CFY candidates)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or rehabilitation setting
- Familiarity with documentation protocols for healthcare providers
