- Full-time, 12-hour night shifts, 1 shift per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to inmates within a correctional facility, adhering to professional standards and provider instructions.
- Plan, deliver, document, and evaluate patient care based on individual needs and approved nursing practices.
- Ensure compliance with all facility policies, procedures, and healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with correctional staff and healthcare team to promote safety and health.
- Maintain accurate records and report any patient concerns or incidents appropriately.
Required Qualifications
- Active Ohio Registered Nurse license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting 250-300 pounds with assistance and pushing/pulling up to 500 pounds with assistance.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- At least one year of clinical nursing experience in a healthcare setting.
