- Full-time, shift: Days, 12 hours per shift, 1 shift per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to inmates in a correctional facility, overseeing adolescent through adult populations.
- Work under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician to deliver nursing services in accordance with licensure scope.
- Uphold the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of the healthcare system.
- Assist with monitoring and caring for a facility housing approximately 1,300 to 2,000 inmates.
- Maintain compliance with all safety and health protocols specific to the correctional healthcare environment.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of Ohio.
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods.
- Capability to lift 250-300 pounds with assistance and push/pull up to 500 pounds with assistance.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- At least one year of clinical nursing experience.
- Prior experience working in correctional or similar healthcare settings.
