• Travel, Night shifts, 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients on a 36-bed telemetry unit specializing in respiratory disorders.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including respiratory therapy, physical therapy, care management, and pharmacy.
• Float to other units and hospitals as needed.
• Adhere to hospital policies, including holiday and weekend coverage.
• Document patient care accurately using the facility’s EMR system.

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing (ADN) or higher.
• Valid registered nurse license for the State of Alabama or a Compact state license. No temporary licenses accepted.
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross).
• Minimum of 18 months to 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in a critical care or telemetry setting.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in pulmonary or respiratory care.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR system.
