• Travel, 13-week assignment, Night shifts, 36 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a 36-bed telemetry unit specializing in respiratory disorders
• float to other units and hospitals as needed, ensuring coverage across departments
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including respiratory therapy, physical therapy, care management, and pharmacy
• Maintain accurate documentation using the Meditech EMR system
• Adhere to hospital policies, dress code, and safety protocols during patient care

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing (ADN) or higher
• Valid Registered Nurse license for the State of Alabama or a Compact license (No Temp Licenses accepted)
• Current BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, including at least 1 year in a telemetry or pulmonary unit

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-acuity medical-surgical or telemetry setting
• Strong respiratory care skills and knowledge of pulmonary disorders
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
