• Full-time, Days shift, 5 days per week

Key Responsibilities

• Perform surgical scrub duties in CVOR procedures, mainly cardiac cases
• Ensure aseptic technique and adherence to universal protocols during surgeries
• Assist with radiation, laser, and fire safety protocols in the CVOR setting
• Label and handle specimens accurately and sterilize/disinfect equipment
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, including specimen handling and safety measures
• Float to different units as needed, following facility guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with proof of technical diploma from CST training
• NBSTSA certification
• Current BLS certification
• 2 years of CVOR/proficient experience in cardiac surgical procedures
• Valid license in hand or valid compact license

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in CVOR, proficient in cardiac case procedures
• Familiarity with EPIC and other hospital systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of sterilization, specimen handling, and safety protocols
