Job Title
• Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

• Little Rock, AR

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Night shifts, rotating weekends and holidays, 36 hours per week

Key Responsibilities
• Circulate and scrub for C-section deliveries in a 14-bed Labor and Delivery unit
• Manage high-risk OB patients, newborn stabilization, antepartum, and postpartum care
• Administer medications such as Oxytocin, Magnesium Sulfate, and insulin infusions
• Start IVs, draw labs on mothers and infants, and operate fetal monitors and other specialized equipment
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care in a Level 1 trauma teaching hospital

Required Qualifications
• Valid Active Compact or AR RN license
• Minimum of 2 years’ recent experience in Labor and Delivery nursing
• BLS certification required
• Ability to work rotating nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
• Experience circulating in a C-section environment preferred but not mandatory

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Level 1 trauma experience in labor and delivery
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification

Additional Details
• Must live 100 miles or more from the facility (no locals accepted)
• Scheduled for 3 fourteen-hour night shifts per week, with up to every other weekend rotation
• No call required; holiday rotation included
• Orientation period: 2-3 days
• Documentation system: EPIC; Medication system: Pyxis
• Ancillary support includes CNA/PCT and a unit clerk; staffing varies per shift
• Unit features use of advanced equipment like fetal monitors, epidural pumps, and infant warmers
