- Full-time, Days shift, 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient occupational therapy services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient treatment plans.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records using electronic charting systems.
- Assist in patient assessments and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings.
- Work efficiently within hospital protocols and accommodate floating between units when necessary.
- Comply with all regulations, including COVID-19 safety protocols, and work at least two major holidays as required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid California occupational therapy license in good standing.
- Current BLS certification.
- Minimum 1-2 years of recent outpatient OT experience preferred.
- Ability to obtain and maintain compliance with hospital and state regulations.
- Willingness to work the designated shift schedule and holiday requirements.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in acute care hospital settings.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records, specifically Epic.
- Ability to float between units such as inpatient floors and rehabilitation units.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
