• Full-time, Night Shift (3x12 Hours)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide care for adult and geriatric patients with various diagnoses including chest pain, atrial fibrillation, COPD, CHF, seizures, and post-surgical complications.
• Monitor patients using telemetry in a fast-paced observation and stepdown unit.
• Administer medications such as heparin, nitro, Cardizem, insulin, and others, adhering to intermediate medication gtts protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and float within service lines to meet patient care needs across multiple units including Neuro/Stroke, Cardiac, Orthopedic, Trauma, Oncology, General Surgery, and Vascular.
• Ensure accurate documentation using EPIC charting system, maintaining compliance and patient safety.
• Support patient flow with an average length of stay of 18-24 hours, working efficiently in a Level I trauma center.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Ohio RN license (pending OK, with approval anticipated).
• Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care experience in a hospital setting.
• Experience with telemetry and observation medicine.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIHSS.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with floating to various units within scope.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Epic charting experience.
• Experience managing adult and geriatric patient populations with diverse diagnoses.
• Prior experience in a Level I trauma or acute care hospital.
