• Full-time, night shifts (12-hour shifts, 3x per week)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy care for emergency and critical care patients, including airway management, intubation assistance, and ventilator management.
• Administer aerosol treatments, medications, and conduct pulmonary hygiene procedures.
• Interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs) and troubleshoot ventilator alarms.
• Support patient transport and assist with complex respiratory procedures, including NIPPV, HFOT, and nocturnal oxygen studies.
• Respond to emergency situations involving respiratory distress, pneumonia, COPD/asthma exacerbations, and other respiratory complications.
• Document patient care activities accurately in medical records and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Required Qualifications

• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license in the state of Missouri.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a critical care or emergency setting.
• Proficiency in airway management, ventilator troubleshooting, ABG interpretation, and emergency respiratory procedures.
• Ability to work night shifts and participate in weekend rotations.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Pediatric and infant respiratory care experience.
• Experience with complex ventilator systems such as Drager Vent, V60 BiPAP, EV300 Vent/PAP, and Auto CPAP.
• Exposure to COVID-19 and pneumonia patient management.
• Experience with endotracheal tube suctioning, extubation, and nebulized medication administration.
