• Full-time, Night shift (3x12-hour shifts per week)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care for cardiovascular intensive care unit (CVICU) patients, including post-op cardiac surgery, TAVR, and telemetry patients.
• Titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips, manage hemodynamics, and monitor patients with complex cardiac conditions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care accurately in the EPIC charting system.
• Float within the service line to other cardiac units as needed, within scope of practice.

Required Qualifications

• Valid and current RN license in Missouri (compact license accepted if applicable).
• Minimum of 2 years of CVICU nursing experience.
• ACLS certification required; BLS and NIHSS preferred.
• Experience with hemodynamics, cardiac assist devices, and EPIC charting system.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and participate in weekend rotations, including six weekends over a six-week period.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Cardio-thoracic surgery, open heart patients, and post-cath lab care.
• Experience with TAVR procedures and post-op cardiac recovery.
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical record system.
