Job Title

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy care across multiple units including emergency, critical care, and medical/surgical floors
• Manage ventilator and NIV support, perform arterial blood gases, and administer nebulizer treatments
• Monitor and manage airway, medication administration, and pulmonary toileting
• Assist with bronchoscopy procedures and use of respiratory equipment such as BiPAP and CPAP
• Ensure compliance with all safety and clinical protocols within a community hospital environment

Required Qualifications

• Valid RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) license and NC or Compact state license in hand
• Minimum of 2 years of respiratory therapy experience with neonatal and pediatric patient populations
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS
• Experience with neonatal, pediatric, PICU, NICU, and pediatric emergency department settings preferred

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in community hospitals and pediatric emergency care
• Knowledge of Epic electronic health record system
• Experience with pediatric airway management and complex therapies
