Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Night shifts (3 x 12-hour shifts per week)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized pediatric intensive care to patients up to 25 years old
• Monitor and care for patients with epilepsy and those requiring specialized treatments, including EKGs and inotropes
• Administer medications and treatments following physician orders safely and accurately
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
• Ensure compliance with all hospital, state, and federal regulations and safety standards

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent pediatric ICU experience prior to travel assignment
• Valid Ohio license or active compact state license at the time of submission
• Proof of permanent licensure prior to assignment start date
• Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Experience with epilepsy monitoring, EKG interpretation, and inotropes
• Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation
• Willingness to work at least every other holiday during assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Recent travel experience in pediatric ICU or similar settings
• NIHHS certification
