Key Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering quality outpatient healthcare by applying sound nursing judgment in accordance with established standards and policies
• Participate as an active member of the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and engage patients, families, and caregivers
• Conduct examinations, aid in diagnostic and treatment procedures, and administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
• Provide patient education and ensure safety protocols are followed during care delivery
• Handle medical documentation including understanding of ICD-10 and CPT coding guidelines
• Respond effectively to emergency situations with calm professionalism

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
• State of PA Practical Nurse License
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification per American Heart Association standards, renewed every two years
• One year of nursing experience preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology, hospital procedures, and safety protocols
• Ability to communicate clearly, follow instructions, and prioritize tasks effectively
• Capable of administering medications and treatments using various medical equipment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in outpatient or clinic settings
• Familiarity with ICD-10 and CPT coding procedures
