- Full-time, night shifts, 12-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care for patients on a Telemetry unit, including those with general surgeries, bariatric, gynecological, urology, and orthopedic conditions
- Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms accurately
- Support patients with moderate physical assistance, such as bathroom support
- Administer Heparin Drips, TPN, and PCAs as ordered
- Work collaboratively with CNA/PCT team members to deliver quality patient care
- Adhere to unit protocols and safety standards
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years recent telemetry experience in a hospital setting within the last 18 months
- Current Kansas or Compact RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Ability to measure and interpret telemetry rhythms
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with medical diagnoses such as cellulitis, back pain, kidney stones
- Familiarity with EMR systems, preferably EPIC
- Ability to float to various acute care units as needed
