Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Days shift, 5 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive palliative care to patients in a hospice setting.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Administer medications, manage symptoms, and monitor patient progress.
• Educate patients and families regarding end-of-life care and comfort measures.
• Ensure compliance with all nursing standards and facility policies.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited professional nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Alaska.
• At least three (3) years of recent experience in a similar patient care environment; hospice experience preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto liability insurance. Mileage reimbursed at government rate.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in hospice or palliative care settings.
• Excellent communication and patient advocacy skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
