- Full-time, travel, 13-week assignment, day shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in orthopedic and spine units, including post-operative and trauma care
- Monitor patient conditions using telemetry, administer epidurals, PCAs, and perform patient assessments
- Perform procedures such as central line care, blood transfusions, and Foley/straight catheters
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient outcomes
- Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record system
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license
- BLS certification
- 2+ years of Med-Surg experience, preferably in orthopedics/spine
- ACLS certification (preferred)
- Experience with telemetry, epidurals, and PCA administration
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Orthopedic/spine unit experience
- Knowledge of unit policies and procedures, including central line care and blood transfusions
- Teamwork-oriented attitude and strong communication skills
