Key Responsibilities
• Deliver quality occupational therapy services according to individualized treatment plans.
• Facilitate morning ADLs, one-on-one treatment sessions, and group therapy.
• Document patient progress accurately using hospital-based EMR systems.
• Educate patients and their families about therapy and recovery goals.
• Maintain compliance with clinical, departmental, and regulatory standards, including productivity expectations.
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment focused on patient-centered care.

Required Qualifications
• Degree from an ACOTE-accredited occupational therapy assistant program.
• Current state licensure or eligibility in Maryland.
• At least one year of hospital acute care experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
• Strong documentation skills and familiarity with hospital EMR systems.
• Excellent communication, flexibility, and time management skills.
• Patient-focused mindset committed to delivering exceptional customer service.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience running occupational therapy groups.
• Additional certifications or specialized training related to acute care.
