Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for Medical/Surgical patients in a 30-bed unit.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver quality nursing care.
• Follow established protocols and ensure patient safety.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments and treatments.
• Support a positive, patient-centered environment.
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures, including compliance with trauma level requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Valid registered nurse (RN) license.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience.
• Experience in a level 1 trauma or mid-large hospital setting.
• Ability to work night shifts reliably.
• Positive attitude and timeliness.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a dedicated education unit (DEU).
• Ability to handle diverse patient populations and acute care needs.
