Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Days shift, 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities
• Perform nuclear medicine procedures accurately within scope, following hospital protocols.
• Operate and maintain nuclear medicine imaging equipment.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Document imaging results in the electronic charting system (Cerner).
• Collaborate with medical staff to interpret and communicate findings.
• Adhere to all regulatory and safety standards, including certifications and licensing requirements.

Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
• Active Illinois licensure or pending application with ETA.
• Certification as CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist).
• Current CPR/AHA and Red Cross certifications; RQI cards not accepted.
• Ability to work within hospital scope, including potential floating within hospital.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience with Cerner charting system.
• Knowledge of hospital trauma levels, preferably Level II Trauma center.
• Flexibility to work 2 out of 3 major holidays.

Additional Notes

• Must have active IL license or be in the process of obtaining it.
• Floating is mandatory for all travel candidates within hospital or to nearby facilities.
• If not licensed yet, allied clinicians must arrive 3 business days prior for fingerprinting.
• No parking costs; parking permit provided.
• RTO requests up to 5 days are generally accommodated with supervisor approval.
• Candidates must complete all compliance requirements promptly, including background checks and documentation.
