Key Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care to patients in a medical-surgical and telemetry unit.
• Monitor and recognizing cardiac rhythms and responding to patient needs accordingly.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Ensure documentation is accurate and timely in compliance with hospital policies.
• Adhere to safety standards and maintain certification requirements during orientation and throughout assignment.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of recent permanent experience in Medical-Surgical or Telemetry nursing prior to travel assignments.
• 18 months of recent MS/Tele experience, including travel experience accepted.
• Valid Ohio nursing license or compact state license in hand at time of submission.
• Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation with acceptable scores.
• Negative drug screen within the past 12 months, including Cotinine (nicotine) test (applicable for non-nurses/CSTs).
• Complete BCI/FBI fingerprinting within 48 hours of contract signing.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing experience preferred.
• Experience working in a high-volume hospital setting.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
