Key Responsibilities

• Perform computed tomography (CT) procedures and related techniques to produce diagnostic imaging for physician interpretation.
• Prepare patients for scans by providing instructions, ensuring cooperation, and minimizing anxiety.
• Select and operate imaging equipment, positioning patients to best demonstrate the area of interest while respecting patient comfort.
• Administer contrast media and maintain intravenous access as needed.
• Practice aseptic techniques and adhere to universal protocols and patient safety guidelines.
• Corroborate clinical history with procedures, ensuring documentation is accurate and accessible to radiologists.
• Assist in emergencies by initiating basic life support procedures.
• Provide patient education and support.
• Maintain inventory, supplies, and equipment for optimal operation.
• Support training and practical instruction for students and team members.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiography program.
• Certification by ARRT in Radiography.
• Certification by ARRT in Computed Tomography.
• Current IEMA-DNS radiography accreditation.
• CPR or BLS certification.
• At least 2 years of CT experience.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with diverse radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures is a plus.
• Ability to adapt to flexible scheduling, including weekends and holidays.
