Key Responsibilities
• Perform diagnostic echocardiograms, ultrasounds, and related sonographic procedures.
• Assist physicians with imaging and capture accurate data for diagnosis.
• Ensure proper patient positioning and comfort during procedures.
• Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment, ensuring safety and quality standards.
• Document procedures and findings accurately in the designated system.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines throughout all procedures.
Required Qualifications
• Associate degree in Radiologic Sciences or Cardiovascular Technology.
• Certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or ARRT (RT).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (within 90 days if not already obtained).
• Eighteen (18) months experience in diagnostic radiology or completion of an accredited program with recommendations.
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Two (2) years’ experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or electrophysiology/interventional lab.
• Previous experience performing cardiac diagnostic, interventional, or electrophysiological procedures.
• Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or Cardiovascular Technology.
