Key Responsibilities
- Provide diagnostic imaging services utilizing CT modalities, ensuring accurate image acquisition and patient safety.
- Review and verify exam orders, explain procedures to patients, and obtain informed consent.
- Operate CT equipment following manufacturer guidelines and department protocols; troubleshoot technical issues independently.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in electronic health records, including billing and supplies documentation.
- Adhere to radiation safety standards, including ALARA principles.
- Flexibly assist with other imaging modalities, departmental duties, or scheduling needs as required.
- Assist with clerical tasks, patient transport, and inventory management as needed.
- Keep current with required certifications and participate in ongoing training and professional development.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
- ARRT registration in Radiology (R).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Successful completion of background check and pre-employment drug screening.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience as a Radiologic Technologist, specifically in CT.
- Cross-training in additional modalities such as MRI, X-ray, or Mammography.
- Experience with electronic record systems, including PACS and RIS/HIS.
