Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain mammography imaging equipment according to manufacturer’s guidelines and departmental protocols.
• Perform diagnostic mammography procedures with accuracy and adherence to safety standards.
• Verify patient identity, review medical history, obtain informed consent, and educate patients about the imaging process.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, including charging procedures and supplies.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards, including FDA guidelines and quality assurance processes.
• Assist in equipment troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Support additional modalities or clinical duties as needed, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• ARRT registration in Radiology (R) and Mammography (M).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willing to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• At least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Successful completion of background checks and pre-employment screening.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Two or more years of experience as a practicing Radiologic Technologist, with proficiency in mammography.
• Cross-training in other modalities such as CT, MRI, or DEXA preferred.
• Experience with electronic record systems, including PACS and RIS/HIS.
