- Full-time, Night shifts, 1 shift per week
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging procedures following department protocols and ensuring quality results.
- Practice radiation safety and adhere to ALARA standards while protecting patients.
- Verify patient identity, obtain necessary consents, and educate patients about procedures.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues, perform quality control, and notify management of any malfunctions.
- Maintain accurate documentation, submit imaging reports, and ensure all paperwork is complete before forwarding to radiologists.
- Assist with patient care, clerical duties, and cross-train in other modalities as needed.
- Participate in on-call rotations, work overtime, and assist with emergency procedures when required.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT registration in Computed Tomography (CT) or eligible to obtain within 1 year.
- Current BLS certification (or must obtain within 90 days).
- Ability to work independently, demonstrate good communication, and have general proficiency in electronic records and systems.
- Must pass background checks and drug screening.
- Must be at least 16 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience as a CT technologist or in a related imaging modality.
- Ability to cross-train into additional imaging modalities such as MRI, DEXA, or Mammography.
- Familiarity with PACS and RIS/HIS systems.
- Effective communication skills and attention to detail.
