Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in an outpatient clinic setting, supporting various outpatient urology procedures and treatments.
• Assist with sterile procedures such as Foley catheter insertions, removals, and cystoscopies with Botox injections.
• Administer medications via IM, SQ, oral, and subcutaneous routes.
• Perform patient assessments, vital sign monitoring, and assist with patient education and follow-up calls.
• Maintain accurate documentation within electronic health records, including lab results, specimen labeling, and medication reconciliation.
• Follow de-escalation protocols and communicate patient status changes to nursing and medical staff.

Required Qualifications

• Valid LVN or LPN license in North Carolina or a Compact State.
• Minimum of 2 years of outpatient clinic experience.
• Ability to perform Foley catheter insertion and phlebotomy.
• BLS certification.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in surgical oncology or urology outpatient settings.
• Familiarity with Epic electronic health record system.
• Experience with sterile procedures such as cystoscopies and Botox injections.

Additional Details

• No RTO (Return to Office) during the first week due to orientation.
• Shifts are 8 hours/day, typically scheduled Monday through Friday.
• Sixteen total outpatient visits expected per day across 26 treatment rooms.
• Travel is not required; local candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Candidate must be comfortable floating to other units or nearby facilities as needed.
• No weekend shifts required.
• Must provide own stethoscope; clinic orientation includes 40 hours post-hospital training.
