• Night shifts, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours per shift

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care for patients in the IMC, PCU, and stepdown units with a focus on high acuity care.
• Monitor patient vital signs, interpret dysrhythmias, and manage cardiac drips and other IV therapies.
• Assist with patient assessments, respond to rapid response calls, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Utilize specialized equipment such as telemetry systems, PCA pumps, and external airway management devices.
• Ensure adherence to infection prevention protocols and patient fall prevention standards.
• Document patient care accurately and maintain compliance with all hospital policies.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Ohio or Compact State RN license.
• At least 2 years of high-acuity nursing experience, preferably in oncology or critical care settings.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications.
• Proficiency in telemetry interpretation, IV management, and emergency response protocols.
• Ability to float within units of similar or lower acuity levels.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with chemotherapy administration and management of cancer patients.
• Advanced skills in arrhythmia management, insulin protocols, and invasive airway management.
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred.
