Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, travel assignment, 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM), working 3 days per week, 13-week duration
Key Responsibilities
- Provide psychiatric nursing care to adult patients in a behavioral health setting
- Assess, develop, and implement patient care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Monitor patient mental health status and administer medications as prescribed
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment for patients experiencing mental health challenges
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with facility standards
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Psychiatric nursing experience preferred
- Certification in CPR/BLS required
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts
- Must have at least 2 years of relevant experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a behavioral health or psychiatric setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle challenging patient behaviors with professionalism
