Job Title

Schedule / Job Type

• Contract, Night shifts, 36 hours per week, 6 weeks duration, on-site

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized telemetry nursing care to medical patients, including medical-surgical and ED patients.
• Float to other medical-surgical telemetry floors and facilities as needed, including Glenbrook, Highland Park, and Skokie.
• Cover night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, including every other weekend and rotating holidays.
• Assess and monitor patient conditions, responding to changes promptly and accurately.
• Complete all required documentation and adhere to hospital protocols and safety standards.

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois Registered Nurse license.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in telemetry, medical-surgical units, or similar settings.
• Current CPR, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Epic EMR experience.
• Ability to pass an EKG test on the first day of orientation.
• Submit with a passing EKG test, recent reference, skills checklist, and all active certifications; no more than 3 days off.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in transition units or low acuity medical units.
• Comfortable with high patient volumes and rapid patient assessment.
