Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, 13-week travel assignment, night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical unit.
- Administer medications and monitor patient progress according to physician orders.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document patient information accurately in the Meditech system.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and certification requirements.
- Assist in patient education and discharge planning as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Active State RN license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- National Institutes of Health (NIH) certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a Medical Surgical setting.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with electronic documentation systems, specifically Meditech.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work night shifts and weekend rotations.
