Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, travel assignment
• Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, working 3 days per week
Key Responsibilities
• Provide direct patient care to adult surgical patients in a busy medical-surgical unit
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, and update care plans
• Assist with post-operative procedures such as wound care, catheter management, and IV therapy
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record system
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety regulations
Required Qualifications
• Active or compact Registered Nurse license in the state of Tennessee or willingness to obtain
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum of 2 years of medical-surgical nursing experience
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a fast-paced environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Background in post-op surgical care, including wound management and catheter care
• Experience with trauma or step-down units is a plus
• Strong time management and communication skills
