Job Title

Schedule / Job Type

• Travel / 13-week assignment / Days shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) / 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care for patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
• Assist with vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and postpartum recovery.
• Perform procedures including cervical exams, IUPC and FSE placement, IV starts, and lab draws.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care accurately within hospital systems such as Meditech and Centricity.
• Support patient education and family communication throughout labor and delivery processes.

Required Qualifications

• At least 2+ years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
• Valid RN license in the state of Tennessee.
• Certifications in NRP, ACLS, BLS, and AWHONN intermediate fetal monitoring.
• Proven ability to perform procedures such as cervical exams, SVDs, and cesarean recoveries.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Familiarity with advanced tools like fetal monitors, Jada, and Cook's catheters.
• Knowledge of hospital electronic documentation systems, including Meditech and Centricity.
