Key Responsibilities
- Assist in invasive electrophysiology procedures, including 3D mapping, EP recordings, and advanced ablation (e.g., A-Fib procedures).
- Operate and support electrophysiology lab equipment, including ICE procedures and cardiac rhythm management systems.
- Ensure proper setup, maintenance, and operation of associated EP lab devices utilizing GE Cardio lab and St. Jude WorkMate systems.
- Support multi-vendor device programming and troubleshooting during procedures.
- Follow departmental policies to ensure safe, efficient, and accurate electrophysiology testing and interventions.
Required Qualifications
- Certification/licensing required: ACLS, NASPE/RCES, or RCIS with EP experience, or registry eligible.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in an electrophysiology lab.
- Associate degree or higher, or completion of an accredited cardiovascular technology program towards a Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist registry.
- Hands-on experience with invasive EP procedures, 3D mapping, EP recording systems, and ablation techniques.
- Ability to operate EP lab equipment and support cardiac rhythm management programming.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- EP procedure and equipment proficiency, including cryoablation and advanced A-Fib interventions.
- Experience with GE Cardio lab and St. Jude WorkMate equipment.
- Familiarity with ICE procedures and multi-vendor device programming.
